The recover of the used Ag-graphene-TiO2 composite extracted from polylactic acid (PLA) film and its characterization in comparison with newly prepared was aim this study. proposed recovery procedure will reduce amount inorganic nanostructured material released into environment as food packaging. Morpho-structural, environmental photocatalytical characteristics recovered an PLA-based those new are reported. displayed color, consistence, appearance, homogeneity dispersion nano-Ag similar compound. FTIR spectroscopy showed presence Ti–O–C bonds suggesting cross-linking between TiO2 graphene both composite. gap energy (Eg) is 1.4 times 2.3 lower than that TiO2, respectively. anatase`s content decreased by 70% during recovering, while rutile rised same magnitude. photocatalytic activity only 30% Additionally, Life-Cycle Analysis (LCA) recovering had a considerably impact preparation terms human health, ecosystem quality, climate change resources. In conclusion, nanostructed composites active films should be promising way to imporve waste management.
